One thing I’ve had time to do, when collating images for this new website, is to look through the archive of transparencies, negatives, scanned images and digital files which have amassed over the years…

Like many other photographers what I produce for clients, what I’m able to showcase online and indeed in print is just a small part of the images I’ve taken over the years. Indeed for a recent presentation I managed to collect examples of images produced with over 10 different types of camera, both film and digital…

I’ve decided to share more of these archive images, and perhaps some of the stories behind them, as part of my Instagram channel, so if you’re interested please do take a look.

This image is the opposite of so much of what I’m paid to create… sharp, in focus, detailed, illustrating a brand or story… this is a reflection, “wobbly”, colourful and abstract.

Taken at The Casa Batlló , in Barcelona, which was designed by Antoni Gaudi in the Catalonia’s Modernist style and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s facade was shaped like natural corals, earning it the name ‘House of Bones’ but on a hot summer’s day a walk through the cool, light interior, the colourful tiles and this pool was just one of a series of of beautiful discoveries…
